Growing up, I always imagined staying a South Side Chicago girl forever. But, after a campus tour in Carbondale, IL, I fell in love with the area and pursued my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Southern Illinois University. GO SALUKIS!
After college, I ventured over to Saint Louis. Fast forward 15 plus years, and I have built a life here in Saint Louis. As a dental hygienist I worked in public health and private practices. I have been a clinical instructor for a college Dental Hygiene Associate program as well. With all of my knowledge, experience, and love of helping others i helped create Studio Magnolia.

Lisa specializes in curly hair and color. She uses the Curly Girl Method to do dry curl-by-curl cuts that leave you with stunning, natural-looking curls. She was one of the original curly girl specialists in Saint Louis! LIsa, a curly girl herself, always wanted to learn how to cut hair like hers. She trained in New York, and brought that knowledge back to STL.
